Courses Available


WellCap Well Control - Drilling Supervisor

This three-day fundamental and supervisory level course includes a wide range of drilling techniques and well control procedures. All forms of pressure problems and control procedures are discussed. Completers will receive an IADC certification and an H2S awareness level training certificate. Offered weekly. 7:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m. Instructor: Mike Mold Cost: $690. Vernal Campus

WellCap Well Control - Drilling/Workover/Completion
Four-day fundamental and supervisory level course. Available upon request. Instructor: Mike Mold. Cost: $695. Vernal Campus

IADC Rig Pass
This is an introductory-level class strictly pertaining to the drilling rig; it’s functions and parts. In this two-day training, students will learn how a rig works; how wells are drilled; and how to work safely on a drilling rig. Students will receive awareness level safety training in areas of safety concern on the rig. An IADC photo certification card is issued upon completion.  Available upon request.  Cost: $124.

Gas measurement
This is a comprehensive course that will explore in depth the different components of gas measurement, including electronic flow measurement and calibration. This is an intermediate course, designed for those who have a basic knowledge of gas measurement.


Lift Systems
This course will teach the operating techniques required to get the full potential out of your lift system. Geared towards gaugers who want to better understand the equipment that they are using in their lift system.


Glycol dehydration and gas processing

In depth study of glycol dehydration principles and equipment. Gaugers and plant operators will learn step-by-step procedures, which will enable them to operate their dehys at their maximum efficiency, saving them time and their company money.
